Gender diversity and unconscious bias in blue collar industry

Did you know that only 2% of onsite construction workers are women?

Women are disproportionately affected by unconscious bias when it comes to landing and staying in a blue-collar role. Factors influencing this bias can include perceptions of gender norms, rigid recruitment processes and exclusionary working environments.
